Taylor and Nick (who are both followed by Rihanna on Instagram and Twitter) have after months of waiting finally witnessed their first ANTI concert. And it was… AMAZING!

Taylor describes the concert as a masterpiece. From the elegance of the white stage to her beautiful outfits, her dancers/band, the whole production and setlist. He says we need to prepare ourselves and that he’s excited for the rest of us to experience everything ourselves. Other than witnessing a concert that blew him away, he also shared a little special moment with Rihanna during the concert.

Rihanna first noticed Taylor and Nick during her performance of Consideration. She gave them a quick glance/smile. The next time was during Same Ol’ Mistakes when she was looking right at them, waving and smiling (video below). And then, at the end, during Kiss It Better when she was waving goodbye to the audience, she came over to them and did some kind of hand gesture making it look like she wants to meet them outside. (also video below) A meeting between the two fans and Rih never took place but she later that night apologised for that and also thanked them both for showing up.

What a night, huh?

Va va voom! Look at Jesus gracing us with a Vogue cover. I swear she can do no wrong. From clothes to hair to makeup, this story is amazing. AMAHZIIING. And the interview! One of the best parts of a new era (new album) is getting interviews again. We’ve gotten a few in the past years too but mostly it’s just a writer giving us their take on her by putting together old quotes and re-telling her history. But this, this is a genuine conversation. And no one does that better than Rih. Here’s what she has to say on the ”rivalry” between her and Beyoncé:

“Here’s the deal. They just get so excited to feast on something that’s negative,” she said. “Something that’s competitive. Something that’s, you know, a rivalry. And that’s just not what I wake up to. Because I can only do me. And nobody else is going to be able to do that.”

She’s authentic and real which, with a good writer, comes through like magic. My favorite interview ever is the one Miranda July wrote for New York Times, published in October 2015. My uncle, once a convinced hater, read that piece and told me he ”gets it now!”, enabling a sweet reconciliation after previous fights about me stanning for Fenty.

But back to the April issue of U.S Vogue

Photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, she wears Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci, Marchesa, Saint Laurent by Hedi Slimane and Tom Ford. Speaking of fashion choices, she reveals that her greatest regret in life is not wearing bedazzled thong underneath the iconic CFDA dress.

“I just liked it better without the lines underneath. Could you imagine the CFDA dress with a bra? I would slice my throat. I already wanted to, for wearing a thong that wasn’t bedazzled. That’s the only regret I have in my life.” Wearing a thong that wasn’t bedazzled is your greatest regret in life? “To the CFDA Awards. Yes.”

And you know what? I totally understand. Not that the 230 000 Swarovski crystals didn’t sparkle enough, but a bedazzled thong would have been amazing.

We are so excited that the tour has finally kicked off! With 71 shows in total we are currently three shows in with Jacksonville, Tampa and Miami. One of the biggest anticipation for the tour has been the setlist.

1. “Stay”
2. “Love the Way You Lie”
3. “Woo”
4. “Sex With Me”
5. “Birthday Cake”
6. “Numb”
7. “Pour It Up”
8. “BBHMM”
9. “Pose”
10. “Consideration”
11. “Live Your Life/All Of The Lights/Run This Town”
12. “Umbrella”
13. “Desperado”
14. “Man Down”
15. “Rude Boy”
16. “Work”
17. “Take Care”
18. “How Deep Is You Love/We Found Love”
19. “Where Have You Been?
20. “Needed Me”
21. “Same Ol’ Mistakes”
22. “Diamonds”
23. “FourFiveSeconds”
24. “Love On the Brain”
25. “Kiss It Better”

The biggest surprise for all of us has been the opening song. We’ve been discussing the subject on Twitter for months and most common suggestions have been Goodnight Gotham, Consideration and Pose. How wrong we were.. Rihanna walks in from the very back of the arena, passing the audience, to climb up to stage B while singing Stay, the hit song from her previous album Unapologetic.

After two songs performed on stage B, she’s then transformed to the main stage on a glass bridge hovering over the audience while she sings Woo and Sex With Me, two of the ten ANTI songs being performed during the show (making it the first time we hear them live!).

When it’s time for her best selling hit We Found Love she mixes it with Calvin Harris’ – who’s also the producer of We Found Love – hit How Deep Is Your Love. This isn’t the only song to get a remix, the iconic Man down has gone through a very successful reggae/hip-hop treatment.

I am LIVING for this!

During FourFiveSeconds (which is personally my favorite Rihanna song) she looks fans in the eyes and holds their hands while beautifully serving vocals. I can easily say this is the moment I’m most excited for.

The show then continues with Love On The Brain, also one of the moments I’m most excited for. I’ve never heard her sing like this before, live or in the studio. Leaving the arena speechless she ends the concert with waving goodbye to the guitar in Kiss It Better. Credits rolls on the screen.

Also: In Miami the setlist was changed a little bit. Goodnight Gotham was added and the most excited thing of all – Drake was there to perform Work and Jumpman!
