MORE NEW MUSIC! Drake’s long awaited album Views finally dropped today and with it we got another Rihanna feature! Say what?! Two new songs on the same day?! YES! April 29th is poppin’!
Too Good is a 4 minute and 23 seconds long dancehall-inspired jam about treating your partner too good, being taken for granted. The track is produced by Nineteen85 and samples Jamaican dancehall artist Popcaan’s Love Yuh Bad in the outro. The song can’t be bought separately but Views is available on iTunes.
Rihanna’s presence on Views doesn’t end there though. Here’s some of the lyrics on Hype:
Just like the rest of us, Drake can’t stop talking about Rihanna. Perfectly normal behavior so we don’t blame him. The lint roller enthusiast has also spoken about their collaboration on Too Good, saying:
”She just got in the studio and just bodied it. It was flawless victory when she sent it back. Everything was perfect. We do great music together. It’s hard to do guy/girl collabs…”
”I think that’s what makes the records better. We’re not just forcing the story…we have genuine energy between us.”
”It wouldn’t be a record without Rihanna. We do well together as a team.”
And all we can say is YES. YOU DO GREAT MUSIC TOGETHER. IT’S A FLAWLESS VICTORY AND EVERYTHING IS PERFECT.
