Hype är så himla intressant. Plötsligt dyker en ny artist upp, som från ingenstans och twitter exploderar. Alla älskar den där nya låten som ba e sååååå bra, bästa vi hört 2015 bla bla bla. Rapinternets senaste älskling tycks va Post Malone, vars låt White Iverson spridits flitigt senaste veckan på twitter och på typ varenda rapblogg och etablerad kanal för hypebyggeri. Är den bra? Well, döm själva.
Alltså. Det e väl en catchy tune liksom, men i mina öron låter det fööööör utstuderat. Det låter ganska PartyNextDoor-influerat, och bitvis har han snott sitt flow rakt av från Dej Loaf, en annan rappare som fick va med om internethype™, men som till skillnad från Post Malone visade sig ha en del gammalt material. För det finns inget som oroar mig mer än när en ny artist inte har mer än typ en låt från tidigare. Post Malone saknar gamla skräpmp3or och mixtapes med 200 nedladdningar på DatPiff. Bristen på tidigare musik fick även min favvobloggare Martorialist att avfärda Post Malone som en ”former grindcore vocalist turnt A$AP Honky turnt current on-trend incarnation”.
