Det har hänt lite grejor sen vi premiärade Alabama-rapparen Gmanes Wood Wheels Turning i december. Albumet Eurotrap som han spelade in i Sverige förra sommaren släpptes i februari (finns på alla musiksidor, men tror han får mest pengar i egen ficka om ni köper på Bandcamp). Och igår kom videon till Trappadon-samarbetet SLAB Line International.
När G-Side, som precis som Gmane kommer från Huntsville i Alabama, besökte Kiruna sa de i intervjuer (med oss t ex) att det fanns likheter mellan Kiruna och Huntsville. Förutom att båda städerna har massa rymdraket-baser så var folkets intressen ungefär samma: man kör bil och lyssnar på musik. Nu är inte Trappadon från Kiruna men han är från Norrland (Umeå) och jag vet att han älskar att glida runt i bilar och lyssna på musik. Precis det rappar han och Gmane om i videon ovan. But a newer watch, with an actual power reserve, would be easy after what I go through on a daily link basis. Plus, winding is good. I felt like it actually makes you look at a watch, and interface with it a little bit, and if the watch could manage to run for a while then winding it would not be a big deal.
