En av mina bästa musikaliska upptäckter under 2013 var lätt ZMoney, den jävligt släpiga killen från Chicago som fick mig att fundera på om hans plåster i pannan skulle kunna bli lika poppis som Nellys klassiska kindplåster. ZMoney gjorde ett smart PR-drag i somras när han släppte två mixtapes på samma dag, och herregud vad jag har lyssnat sönder dom bägge. Det glädjer mig därför att bägge tapen nu släpps utan en skrikig DJ. Alltså, missförstå mig rätt, det är inte som att jag hatar mixtape-tags typ DAMN SON WHERE DID U FIND THIS eller TRAPAHOLICS RRRREAAAL TRAP SHIT, men ibland vill man liksom vila öronen från det där, och framförallt så vill man kunna spela musiken ute!

Senare i år kommer ZMoney försöka överträffa sig själv genom att släppa TRE (3!!!) mixtapes på en och samma dag. Jag har tidigare varit sjukt peppad på det, men nu har en viss oro kommit smygande. Kommer han kunna överträffa sina två mixtapes från 2013? På en av VBDFRs favoritbloggar The Martorialist har det pågått något sorts bråk om vem som egentligen är hjärnan bakom ZMoneys lyckade sound, Z själv eller kanske hans tidigare rapkollega Bandman Kevo, eller kanske producenten JNeal? ZMoney själv har lagt sig i och sagt sitt via twitter. Asså förlåt, jag inser att detta bara är intressant för den minimala del av jordens befolkning som bryr sig om a) ZMoneys musik b) mer eller mindre obskyra rapbloggar.
Oavsett vad så e jag sjukt spänd på att få höra mer från både ZMoney, Kevo och JNeal. Kevo har ett mixtape från 2012 som är ganska bra, skulle gärna höra mycket mer från honom, ÄLSKAR hans röst.
